How to Move ISLM from Centralized Exchanges to HAQQ

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of withdrawing your ISLM tokens from a centralized exchange (CEX) to the HAQQ Network. Once your tokens are on-chain, you'll be able to participate in on-chain activities and leverage the various products. We’ll specifically focus on examples from KuCoin and Indodax, but the process can be adapted to other exchanges as well.

It's important to note that different exchanges have unique mechanisms and features. Some allow direct withdrawals to your desired chain, in this case, HAQQ, while others may require you to first withdraw to a specific network, from which you can then bridge to your desired chain. We’ve made this guide easy to follow, no matter which method your exchange of preference uses.

How to Withdraw ISLM from KuCoin to HAQQ

If you’re using KuCoin, the process is straightforward as KuCoin supports direct withdrawals to HAQQ. Here are the steps:

Step 1

• Log in to your KuCoin account.
• From the navigation bar, go to Assets → Overview → Withdraw.

Step 2

• Select ISLM from the dropdown menu.

Step 3

• Open your HAQQ Wallet, copy your address, and paste it into the Wallet Address field on KuCoin.

Step 4

• Ensure that HAQQ Network is set as the withdrawal network.

Step 5

• Enter the amount of ISLM you wish to transfer.

Step 6

• Double-check that your wallet address, withdrawal network, and amount are correct.
• Click "Withdraw" and confirm the transaction.

Step 7

• Complete the security verification by entering the relevant code and hitting Submit.

Your ISLM tokens will now be successfully transferred to HAQQ.

How to Withdraw ISLM from Indodax to HAQQ

Since Indodax doesn't support direct withdrawals to HAQQ, you'll need to transfer your ISLM to Ethereum (ETH) first and then bridge it to HAQQ. We’ll use MetaMask as an example of the wallet, but you can choose any Ethereum-compatible wallet. Follow these steps:

Step 1

• Log in to your Indodax account.
• Click on "Wallet" at the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 2

• Select "Withdraw" on ISLM. You can easily locate it using the search bar.

Step 3

• Choose ETH (ERC20) as the network.
• Select the "Address" tab.

Step 4

• Add your MetaMask wallet address.
• Ensure that the wallet address is correct.

Step 5

• Enter the amount of ISLM you wish to withdraw to your MetaMask wallet.

Step 6

• Click "Send" and confirm the transaction.

Your ISLM tokens will be transferred to your MetaMask wallet within approximately 60 minutes. The version you receive will be wrapped ISLM (wISLM) on the Ethereum network. To use the tokens on HAQQ, you’ll need to unwrap and send them to HAQQ using Satellite Money bridge.

Bridging Your Tokens from Ethereum (ETH) to HAQQ

We will use Satellite Money, a simple platform for bridging tokens between HAQQ and other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Cosmos chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BNB Chain. Here's how to bridge your tokens:

Step 1

• Go to the Satellite Money website.

Step 2

• Connect your MetaMask wallet by clicking "Connect Wallet".

Step 3

• Select Ethereum as the origin chain and HAQQ as the destination chain.

Step 4

• Enter the amount of ISLM you want to bridge.

Step 5

• Open your HAQQ Wallet and copy your Bech32 address. Paste it into the destination address field.

Step 6

• Confirm the transaction in your MetaMask wallet.

Wait for the transaction to be confirmed (around 20 minutes). Once completed, your ISLM tokens will be successfully bridged to HAQQ. You’re now ready to use ISLM on the HAQQ Network!
